 Prince Kamal al-Din Hussain headed the Animal Breeding Department of the Agricultural Society during the reign of his father, Sultan Hussein Kamel, and gave great attention to horse breeding. During his reign, the English Khawaja, Branch, head of the Horse Breeding Department, was sent to England to buy 18 male horse and one mare from the “krakabet” stables that belong to “Lady Annet Planet” and they were raised in Egypt in the stables of Sheikh Obaid.

Prince Kamal El-Din Hussein distributed the male horses, which were in the Egyptian Agricultural Association, to the directorates of the Egyptian country to improve the production of horses in the governorates, and after the death of his father, he replaced him in the presidency of the association, so he followed the approach of his predecessor in taking care of the affairs of the farmers.

 He was interested in scientific and geographical discoveries as it penetrated into the desert more than once, and the creation of great valuable maps Technically and scientificly. 

Then he assumed the presidency of the Royal Agricultural Society from April 20, 1915 to August 6, 1932, “until he died.

 The prince stepped down from accepting the throne, with his immortal book that he sent to Sultan Hussein, before his death:

With my total devotion to your honorable person and your honorable judgment, I am completely convinced that staying in my condition now enables me to serve my country with more than I can serve it in another case. Therefore, I hope that you will authorize me for every right to inherit the throne of the Egyptian Sultanate, as I am your only son … etc.

It is noteworthy that Kamal al-Din Hussain was the first to sign the princes’ statement and the national call they issued on January 3, 1923, in which they declared their solidarity with the ranks of the nation in demanding its legitimate rights for freedom and independence, which They say: “That is why we came, not only to join the people in their purposes, but to join their members and put our hands in their hands. So that we are only one soul.
